it's 4.06am now and i'm still awake D:

sighs there's work tomorrow and i don't really feel like going. it's nearing the end of eoy holidays and all i'm feeling like doing is laze around and yeah. enjoy the last of my hols. before jc life starts and a whole new and well, expectedly boring school year starts again.

it's also cause of the pay i guess. 5 frigging pathetic bucks per hour is quite sad -.- since i've calculated and this month for all the hours that i've gone (erm so far 35 hours? or was it 40?) i'd have earned more or less around $200. that's all D: and to think i persevere on with my hunger on mondays wednesdays and fridays (cause work is from 2 or 3pm to 9plus pm i reach home at ten) yeah so i have my lunch at around 12nn.. dinner at 10pm every mon wed fri -.- it's horribleee D:

hahaha i was just about to die of jealousy just two days ago cause everyone's going to korea/japan!! i saw at least like 8 korea albums from different people (CJ doesn't count CJ alone has like 3 to 5 -.-) and 6 japan albums?!?!?!! DDD: zz i want to go to korea and japan too! D: if only my mum understands that going to these two countries when i was a kiddo who just learnt to walk doesn't count :'(

oh wells but anyways! IM HAPPY HAHAHA cause i end up getting nice fangirl stuffs from people who went to korea!!:DDD singapore is so deprived of all these fangirl stuffs -.- i went to comics connection hoping to find some stuffs the other day and zz. i saw them selling stuffs of dongbang's debut days. =.=!!!! and getting them elsewhere in singapore is crazily ex cause of the shipping from korea! bleargh.

oh wells hongkong's nice too though! hongkong has also been one of the places that i wanted to go for quite a long time haha:D but the itinerary turned out to be pretty boring cause it was like sightseeing taking pics w statues and stuffs D: my ideal kind of hongkong trip was meant to be something like walking along the hongkong streets like 女人街 and 花园街 and what nots, taking our time, and hmm. stopping by those roadside food stalls and trying out all of the hongkong 小吃s. but no -.- for the 小吃 part we just rushed to some random restaurant store and hurriedly bought some 菠萝包 and then scoot off. cause there's a time limit set and it's the kind that will force you to just enter a store, browse around for a min, okay nothing here let's go. -.- and restaurant food is nice. v nice. but honestly i just wanted to sit at some roadside stall or something and try out a nice hot bowl of their 拉面 and stuff -.-

i wanted to experience hongkong life instead of visiting hongkong monuments =.=

gah ignore me maybe i'm still feeling horrible about how my entire tour group of old folks passed through a theme park full of super darn cool rides just to go to the other part of the theme park which involved a flower museum (?) and statues. aish ok lar the flower place was quite nice. but EH the part where we had to stand and wait for more than 1 hour for the freaking choo-choo train to fetch us to the place isn't.

and i realise the itinerary's really important! cause i looked through some of the facebook korea albums and realised that some of them are quite boring too! they went to like what. ancient significant places in korea. and taking pictures with statues and more statues i suppose. while CJ got to go skiing, go to the radio place to see suju people on air, see 2pm at some open event, do lots of shopping, go for their dance and vocal classes etc etc. hahaha which ttly beats taking pictures with plants and statues!

aish oh wells hongkong could've been so much nicer w a nice itinerary!D: i should go look for itinerarys which do not include sightseeing next time cause sightseeing = getting down the bus and walking to places just to take pics = torture for me i rather stay on the bus and sleep zz.

i just came home from my family's christmas party which included bbq, gift exchange etc etc and haha its pretty late now so i guess i'll sleep after posting!

whoo my later half of december has been fully packed up with outings with friends/ work :'( / christmas parties etc etc haha its so unlike the start of december when i was still enjoying my time at home! i'm not sure if its a good or bad thing though D: there's still lots of things i'd wanna do (like i haven't even read a single of the twenty chinese books that i lugged home from china!! T.T) and poof december's ending already!

LOL after reading jeanie's blog i've realised (ARGH) that I HAVEN'T TOUCHED MATH. when there's supposed to be a hmm.. math test? next year when hwachong starts. aish seriouslyyyy we havent even started on orientation and there's news on frigging tests already D:

anw oh wells as expected the subtitles of the vietnam cds suck but at least they're speaking in english so yeah its fine! but URGH its not fine with my korean cds larh how the zz am i supposed to understand korean without subtitles! D': haha the lousy subs are basically why i have around 30 cds at home but i haven't really watched them all yet! but oh wells since the english audio is fine i guess i shall start having a movie watching marathon soon enough!:D

haha went out with poo leejiawen yesterday, my whole day was basically dedicated to her LOL.

we were supposed to meet at 11 at cine, but i woke up at 9 (supposed to wake up at 7 cause i wanted to pack my room) but yeaahh overslept. then i phoned poo and asked her if we could meet at 12 instead, and she said ok so HAHA i went back to sleeeeepppp HEH.

what else. HMM oh yeah that stinky pile of vibrating poo (haha okay this sounds terrible) reached at 12.30+! haha so i sat alone at cine 4th floor with my ds, waiting for her and looking like some poor abandoned child :'( then when she came we decided to eat first and so a certain glutton dragged me to the basement to get frozen yogurtttt. HAHA it was nice though! i like! ^^

then went back upstairs to get our movie tickets, decided on watching the princess and the frog which i didnt have much expectations for at first cause i thought it'd just end up like any other disney film (though I LIKE DISNEY FILMS. haha!) but anw, it ended up pretty nice, i liked RAY awww it was really sad when the poor firefly who got stomped on by that ugly sorcerer was about to die. at least he ended up with his dear evangeline after he died! the show wasn't awesome or anything but aww disney shows are always so heartwarming :P and they lived happily ever after~ hahaha

after the show... hmm oh yeah! went with poo to yck cc for badminton. ARGH i was trying to wiggle and worm my way out of that one cause badminton is a ball game and anyone who knows me knows that stephpang can't play any ball games. HAHAHA. so basically i didn't bother to dress for badminton at all! but worming and wiggling failed and before i knew it we were already at yck cc -.- and the two of us didn't dare to go in at first! me cause i saw poo's sibs, dad and sibs' friends inside. and silly lousy poo didn't dare to too just cause her sibs' friends were inside -.-

but haha i got to play a little of badminton until the rest of jiawen's brother's sec one friends came:D oh yeah hanbin's sec one alrdy omg. and jiayi is pri five. aha cause i saw hanbin/jiayi for the first time like 2 years ago during the OM period when the few of us kept going over to poo's house for OM, so i keep having the impression that han bin's still pri 5 and jiayi's still pri 3! oh wells but like what poo said both of them didn't change much in height and looks-wise! HAHA. and so i told poo "its okay boys take a little longer to grow. he'll grow taller than you real soon!" and poo said that we've been saying that since two years ago LOL.

and anyways! STEPHPANG'S BADMINTON IMPROVED A LITTLE HAHAHA. at least i can touch the frigging shuttlecock now -.- AHH my badminton should've improved back in sec threeeeee. then maybe i wouldn't have gotten a D -.- or wait was it an E. aha who knows maybe it was C. zz the only PE modules that i remember getting an A for are like what. artistic gym and the general training -.-

then poo tried teaching me MAD (modern)'s orientation dance for next year while the rest of the ppl continued playing badminton in the court. haha after seeing the dance i think i'll try for both modern and hiphop (and hopefully get into one -.- even though i'd prefer hiphop more) cause thank goodness their modern's something like jazz cats. which is nice! i like!:D

oh oh after badminton at around 5.30 actually i was getting ready to go home already, but poo said that there's bbq at her house later that night o.o i didn't believe her cause we were talking about some stuffs about bbq earlier that day and i thought she was joking zz. and besides! that lousy poo didn't tell me there was a bbq at all (even though she claims that she told me on msn eons ago HAHAHA.)

but anw im glad i went! it was really fun, especially during the later part of the night when we played cards and heart attack and we were all laughing like crazy :D i don't usually have the chance to play with people around my age since most of my cousins are kiddos in lower primary or even younger D: so yeah! it was really nice!:D

oh but i still have no idea who any of them are (besides poo and her sibs of course) except that two of them are from hwachong table tennis and the other one's primary six (?) and for the girls, most of them are primary five except for one who's primary three (?) HAHA idk really! my information gathering ability is really low -.- but oh wells! they're a really fun batch of ppl and i can't wait for poo to have another bbq at her place again!:D

ps/ oh oh argh the mrt was packed so i had to stand from yck to around woodlands where there were finally some seats =.= zz so much for wanting to sleep through the whole journey! oh wells reached home at 12 midnight (left poo's house at around 10.35pm?) and haha even though i was alrdy v full cause of the bbq, i started eating the noodles i got my aunt to pack as dinner for me the moment i got home, then cleaned up and went to sleep soon after eating the noodles. oh myy EAT EAT SLEEP. i should be a pig ambassador -.-

(why wouldn't it be nice. there's a bed at home for you to sleep. food and drinks at home for you to binge. tv computer internet xiaoshuos and everything else at home for you to pass time. hee see it IS really nice!)

i went for facial at my biao yi's place at imm just now in the afternoon =D

AND GUESS WHAT HAHA.

i came home with a gigantic teddy bear! hee even bigger than chunky the monkey! its like hmm only a little shorter than me when we're both sitting on the sofa :D AWW my first time getting such a huge teddy, its so huggable, im happy!:DDD im naming it teddy cause i can't think of any other names for it! HEH!

its from minitoons anw, one of the brown bears there, and its the largest of its kind, so to speak. the ones they put on the top shelves HEH IM SO HAPPY:DD anw biaoyi (who's basically my mum's older cousin) told me after i finished my facial that she just went to see some bears and wanted to get me one big one for my christmas present. and then she brought me to minitoon to pick amongst those large bears ahh so nice:DDD i don't really know her you know! other than seeing her when i go for facial/ at chinese new year and stuffs like that.

its around 70 bucks btw ahh.
im so happy im like hugging it now hehe. first time having such a big bear! ^^

It was announced by the Hong Sisters (Hong Mi Ran, Hong Jung Eun) that a Director's Cut DVD set will be launched soon with unreleased scenes to better address some parts of the storyline that had been edited away for broadcast on SBS.

So instead of 16 episodes, the DVD set (with english subtitles, not including BTS) will contain 20 episodes after adding in the unreleased scenes.

The Hong Sisters expressed, "There were too many scenes in the broadcast version revolving around Jang Geun Suk and Park Shin Hye's characters. Many of Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Hong Ki's scenes were edited out, including the background story of Jeremy's bus, plus many other touching stories. We felt that it would be a pity to let those scenes go to waste so we decided to add them to the DVD set."

The drama might have ended in Korea but it is still continuing to be a topic of interest with broadcast rights for it already acquired in Japan, Taiwan, etc. In addition, the production company has also been receiving lots of calls from others for a musical and movie adaptation. So get ready to save and splurge on that DVD set in January 2010.

HI IM HAPPY TODAY:D

aha anw can you imagine how :O-ed i was when i woke up at 12nn only to see an sms from kumon saying "come to work at 2.30 today" HAHA (normally its 4pm) cause i had to go make ezlink etc too so had to rush rush rush in case i ended up late for work

but haha turned out to be EARLY like reached kumon at 2, no one there and the place was locked so i lingered outside for a while, feeling very bored.

THEN. THEN THEN THEN :D:DDD

i saw that theres a lady in dancepointe aka dancepointe door was not locked so i went in and asked her if i could borrow the dance studio just to practice dance cause im waiting for kumon to start and she said it was okay so AHA i got to dance in an empty dance studio, which felt so nice!:D

i practiced ringdingdong (which made me understand that im not very good at it yet -.-)
i practiced the old cj combo d choreography like juliette and replay (which made me understand that i've basically forgotten some of the steps)
i tried playing random music and doing freestyle cause jennifer said that mad might ask you to do freestyle for auditions (which made me understand that baggy pants are nice for doing freestyle but i always only have those same moves -.-)

BUT HAHA EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING I REALIZED FRM AFTER DANCING IN THE DANCE STUDIO BEFORE KUMON ARE NEGATIVE, i felt very very happy cause... idk i just like having the whole dance studio to myself/ dancing before work/ sweating cause of dance/ doing self practice in a dance studio instead of in my crampy old room which i can barely see myself/ how im dancing cause i only have one slim mirror which is slimmer than myself -.- :D

HAHA IM HAPPY:D

ahh worked at kumon from 2.30 to around 9.40 todayyy. but its 5 bucks only though im sad :'(
low pay sighs. tiny's one apparently paid 6 bucks! but its alrights its pretty fun and time passes fast cause you're so engrossed in marking the kids' papers so its okay!:D

there are 130 episodes so 128 and 129 basically means the show is ending, but aish who cares about spoilers, just watch its really hilarious! i laughed the most after watching these two episodes lol!

background info: taemin is acting as junsu, an all-rounded (more than that. he's basically just like excelling in everything ranging from dance to studies to basketball haha) mother's pet (he listens to his mum like crazy). the typical kind of good boy. and at the beginning he secretly took on another identity as "taemin" who is a hiphop dancer and yeah dances to relieve stress behind his mother's back.

his classmate shim eunkyung found out about this secret and helped him keep the secret from his mum who eventually found out. but anw taemin's not interested in girls so eunkyung is like one of the few girls he smiles/ hangs out with etc. but that's only because he thought he treated eunkyung as a boy (he calls her shim goon; goon is basically a way of addressing a male younger than you in formal language) yeah and he started liking his tuition teacher (the pretty one. i forgot her name) but the teacher didn't like him back cause she was alrdy dating his uncle, so he kept facing rejections over and over again. and all this while eunkyung liked him, but they were having this friend-friend relationship all the way till now cause i don't think junsu was aware.

HEH i don't really think much about the acting in this show, obviously it can't be compared to major shows like BOF and YB but HAHA this is more of a silly show just for laughs i guess. its really hilarious heh!

ft-i should be on their night flight back to korea right now D:
saw at 8+pm after coming home from dinner that BEG's flying off on thai airways (?) at 9pm and the rest of them (t-max ft etc) flying off on asiana at 10 or 11 plus. eeehh and so they left like this and i didn't even get to see them!

i read on soompi that 2pm and wondergirls came last year though. zomg was it true! so darn cool! but aha not that big a 2pm fan, much less to say wonder girls so yepp, it's okay!:D

but gah i don't exactly like how ft treats their fans though. its pretty obvious that hongki doesn't enjoy being around his fans much and yes its understandable, but still--- seeing comments like "sigh honggi oppa didn't look happy at the airport" and "ft-i's performance was kind of impersonal at sundown. like a little dao?" and "but my mood dropped when i saw ft island performing cause seunghyun looked so unhappy and gave half-hearted smiles" made me pity the fans a little. i mean, they pay money/ make an effort to see their idols, only to see those idols being grouchy. kinda sad right?

but then again, i like how they are honest about being bothered when fans cheer too crazily and stuffs though =) aha i know this sounds really conflicting, but seeing how fans shriek so crazily and sometimes even doing crazy acts, as idols im sure idols will get annoyed sometimes heh. especially since 3 out of 5 of ft-i are fellow blood type A people hahaha! i think it's cool seeing how ft's being so open about it :P

went to meet up with ploty after ringdingdong at cj; didn't do much though was just playing werewolves and walking around the new mall 313. plus the part of finding my way to the place left me really annoyed/ tempted to just go back to pioneer to wait for dancefact class to start instead. oh well, shan't judge/ comment though, i was in my irritating mood then which basically made everything seem bad-.-

grr i think i lost my ezlink card. which basically added on to my bad mood -.-

as i was telling valerie, its v xie men (whats that in english? o.O) you know. cause basically i was walking to the mrt after going to 313 (the new shopping centre) with ploty and well yeah cause tiny and i (w silei) were just talking about mad hiphop and tiny said that it's gonna be hard if i wait till next year to audition cause there are already peeps joining the open classes for practices and what nots

yeah so anyways since we were just talking about that and i had lots of things in my hand, making it v hard for me to dig into my bag to take my ezlink card, i started thinking "aish if i can get into hiphop next year i don't mind losing my ez-link ^^" and then i finally felt for the pouch that i always place my ez link in and O_O''' it was really empty HAHAHA. i was like EH?! wth it was just a random thought!!!D::

zz. i don't like the idea of wasting money anymore though. urgh. pisses me off cause wasting money on nonsensical stuffs like making another ez link and maybe going out and what nots always make me link back to how all these money added up can buy me a seoul'd out festival concert ticket and give me the chance to see at least ONE korean star in person (plus its ft omg. ft. ft.) and taste yummy korean rice cakes sold at that festival.

ahh ft island's in singapore! AGAIN. and idk if i should go get the tickets and just go alone! so tempting! gah i haven't seen a single korean star live before i think i'd just die to see just one of them live! esp since ft's my third favourite band! AHH.

went to bugis street to get cargo pants today:D first time going to bugis street HAHA. cab cal congregation place omg. you see all sorts of (amusing) people there O_O

haha this was my original plan:
1pm - 2pm: practice dance
2pm - 3pm: bathe/ get ready
3pm - 4pm: time spent to get there

so i was supposed to reach bugis st at 4pm and start shopping without tiny first. but -.- i started downloading songs and stuff hahaha and in the end i didn't even practice dance at all, and went to bathe at 3.30..? and left home at 4.35 HAHAHA. so basically i ended up reaching just a few minutes before the gay zz.

AH FAIL. STILL CANT GET PLOTY STUFF. CANT FIND. AND NO BUDGET. GAH.
at least tiny has her badges!

and FAIL AGAIN saw cargo pants (finally) at the 1st lvl of bugis street but ZZ they were all too big. GRR. so went to some really empty shopping centre next to b.s. shopped about and yes its as lousy/ sucker/ loserish as what tiny's friends said -.- so went to bugis junction. and eheh i finally found my cargo pants at edc esprit :D:D:D

theres the white one at 50bucks and the black one at 80bucks, but the white one's too big apparently, so i only got the black one (AHH 80 BUCKS). but i really like the white one so tmr i shall leave home early in th morning (by that i mean 10..? 11..? which is really early considering that thats the time that i usually wake up -.-) to go to tampines mall (tampines omg. the other side of the island -.- i can just sleep through the entire train ride again -.-) to get the only sized 36 white cargo pants (which is still too big btw i wear size 32 but ARGH who cares!) and then return all the way back to boonlay again for work.

haha i got the job at kumon, at pioneer. i was wondering where the blah it was at first, and then i realised that it was RIGHT NEXT TO dancepointe -.- surprise surprise, a few months at dancepointe alrdy and i nvr did realize. -.-

haha its mon wed fri 4-8pm and sat 9am to supposedly 1pm (but i guess im leaving earlier for dance).
only went for one time yesterday, and it was pretty fun:D:D you just have to mark the kids' work w the standard answer sheets and its really adorable cause those little kiddos come up to you and go "teacher~ how to do this?" HAHA. i was pretty much EH?! at first when a kid came up to me and said "teacher~" for the first time. AHA cuteness.

cause i saw some of their korea pictures on facebook and SOBS i want to go too! apparently my mum says that i went to korea and japan before when i was really young but ZZ. keywords: "when i was reaaaaallly young" -.- who heard about kpop when they were 4 or 5 huh huh you tell me.

gah i really hope hwachong has korea for gcp next year.. or like korea with friends or something. my family (including extended family omg) plans to go to taiwan next year, which is nice too cause i haven't been to taiwan, but urgh. family again? D:

i mean i go to bali with my family. i go to genting with my family. i go to vietnam with my family. i go to hongkong with my family. and basically you can imagine how bad it feels when you see a group of happy teenagers walk past you and you go "ah if only im here with my friends instead too". to make things worse at least some people have cousins/ sibs to accompany them when travelling overseas w family but pretty much all i have's kiddos and more kiddos (age range: 1 to 13 years old). so its old folks, adults and kiddos. awesome.

oh speaking about vacations, shall blog a little about hongkong.

honestly, i didnt totally like it -.- i mean, HI LET ME INTRODUCE MY TOUR GROUP TO YOU. its basically my grandma's friends in the tour group so 80% old folks. okay then the remainder 20% comprises of uncles/aunties/ my mum/ one 20 year old girl/ me.

generation gap ahoyyy.

and basically when you get into a quarrel with your mother, turn up late for the supposed meeting time, etc etc because you are the youngest in the tour group, and the majority of the tour group are aged around 40-60 years above my age, they treat you like a kid. its a kind of feeling i cant really elaborate here but its just goddamn irritating urgh freak.

like in a case where our family was the last to turn up on the bus on the first morning (cause i tell you when you tell the old folks to gather at 8.30 they ALL gather at 8.15 kiasu much?) it wasnt said but the blame of being late pretty much ended on me -.- though actual reason: 1. my grandma was shitting. 2. i said that the lobby was G (as in the lift button) but i was being ignored by my mum and grandma as usual and my mum thought she was so smart and pressed the button 1. lift opened at 1st floor my entire family walked out leaving me no choice but to walk out too and the next second my smart mum went "what is this place??? O_O" but aww too bad the lift went back up alrdy. so waited for another lift to come and i was like "-.- that's why i said G." and basically i got snapped at by my mum for not saying it louder -.- and oh another thing about my smart family was that when the lift came again it was meant to go up (we wanted to go down) but they happily ignored that fact and went in and the lift went all the way up from 1st floor to the 16th floor -.- so yes basically we were late.

then at night, whilst shopping we were supposed to meet at 10pm (we split into two groups: my grandma my mum one random uncle and his wife and the other group was well, me and basically me.) shopping alone is indeed a zillion times more productive than having an adult tagging around. i bought lotsa cool stuffs:D i shall post some other time:DD but anws at 10 or even slightly before it i turned up at the meeting place and my mum/grandma/random couple were already there so i just walked up to them and this was the irritating part. -.- the random uncle (around 50+?) i honestly didn't know came up to me and tried to be the nice guy cause my mum and i weren't on nice terms and said "hen3 hao4, mei2 chi2 dao4. bu2 pa4, ni3 kan3, uncle xiang1 xin4 ni3 :D:D:D" which pretty much made me go o.O and was fighting the urge to tell him "uncle i barely even know you." besides, the xiang xin ni part (the way he said it) was pretty much insulting. basically shows how the adults have alrdy associated you with the reason why your family was late -.-

and yeah theres also other stuffs, but seriously. the hongkong 6 day trip turned out to be much of a torture to me. since im basically surrounded by generation gaps (including my mum. the trip made me realize that despite my mum dressing/looking really young and acting really young too, a generation gap is something that can never be ignored.) the things that they do and the things that I want to do differ by miles. eg: you walk through a theme park. for teens the hearts go to taking rides, getting snacks and drinks, camwhoring with people your age etc. for folks, the hearts go to walking through a flower garden and taking pictures of flowers. taking pictures with statues and taking pictures with plants. and queueing for goodness knows how many hours just for a bumpity choo-choo train ride. when there was actually a really damn cool hiphop dance performance going on by some blacks onstage. followed by a mime, and a really cute group of guys singing. i guess old folks dont watch hiphop huh..

i was honestly dying to go home from the 2nd day of the trip onwards, and yes i did have fun times like shopping and stuff, but other than that, (shakes head) it was really unbearable. i remembered having so much more fun at gcp.

to sum things up, hongkong basically made me make up my mind that i don't want family trips anymore. its not a moment of anger thing, since that'd be ridiculous im not even pissed now, but its just something i've decided on since day 2. since years ago, there hasn't been a single family trip where my mum and i have sat through it peacefully without any conflict. which made me pretty confused why this is so on family trips, but not so much at home. but then i realised that its cause when im at home i pretty much spend my time locked up in my room, and having my meals in my room and all. there's barely any chance for interaction and uhhuh i think things should remain that way.

for the taiwan trip next year, im not so sure if i'd wanna go anymore. the only incentive is that i havent been to taiwan before, but im pretty sure it'd just turn into a hongkong trip number 2. which was pretty much a nightmare, and it still is. gah i'll see if i have any friends wanting to go overseas next year, or gcp.
